A handwritten letter from Roger Pocock in Regina to his mother in Ontario. He asks for photographs to be sent from home, with a promise to send some of himself to his family too. He talks about the upcoming Christmas Day plans, his general contentment with his life at the NWMP post, and describes in some detail the task of being on guard duty; a small sketch of the guard room, prison and court is included with the letter. 6 pp.
